The Endocannabinoid System

All cells as well as nerves within your body are managed through a person’s endocannabinoid system, which serves as the courier of information between your immune system as well as your nervous system. This gives neuroprotection as well as handling the immune system. What this all means is the endocannabinoid system retains our health and well being.
Our endocannabinoid system has 2 main receptors, CB1 and CB2. The CB1 receptor can be mainly found inside your central nervous system, but may also be found in your lungs, liver, and kidneys. CB2 receptors are mainly located in your immune system.
Our bodies produce endogenous cannabinoids, or better known as anandamide, but at times endogenous cannabinoids are not well suited enough when up against emotional stress, injuries, and disease, which is when phytocannabinoids become very important.
